Yawkey Inpatient Expansion Project, Boston, MA
Fulfilling a need identified by an Institutional Master Plan, this award-winning project added new inpatient rooms to Boston Medical Center's Yawkey Center. Construction kept adjacent facilities operating, included several enabling project relocating existing services, and took place on a dense urban site spanning one of Boston's main thoroughfares.

- 22 new adult IMCU beds on level 5
- Upgrades to an existing eight-bed adult med/surg suite on level 5
- A new 28-bed inpatient observation unit on level 5
- 48 new adult IMCU beds on level 6
- 10 new adult ICU beds
- New exam and procedure rooms
- New Joint Clinical Research space
